Altium Packaging transforms its workspace with Pedlex modular offices

Pedlex recently worked in collaboration with Altium Packaging in order to optimize their work environment at their Anjou facility. Our client was looking to add workspace to their production center, and the result was a modular prefabricated office system, offering a calm and ergonomic space in their premises.
The challenge:
Altium Packaging was looking to increase its work and organization capacity for its teams. Specifically, they needed to build soundproof workspaces for supervisors, protected from dust and machinery.
This required the installation of four new offices in their manufacturing center. Our customer preferred an efficient installation to avoid time-consuming construction.

Our project manager worked closely with the Altium team to design a solution tailored to their needs.
Pedlex’s experts supplied and installed 4 prefabricated offices, which took just 3 days to assemble. Installation is efficient, and the structures are modular and reusable in the event of relocation or expansion.
Once the material had been delivered to our customer’s premises, the steps involved in assembling the modular offices included:
- Fixing the mounting rail to the floor
- Placing panels along the mounting rail, following the assembly plan
- Solid panels run along the rear walls
- Other panels contain doors, windows or walls and reduce external noise by 25db to 40db, depending on model
- Fasten panels to corner posts with clips or spacers
- Installation of roof platforms with optional false floor and floor finishes
- Frequent quality control and conformity to drawings
- Insertion of snap-on joint covers
- Once our installation experts have completed these steps, the offices are ready to be furnished and receive electrical wiring and heating or air conditioning.
