Pedlex is a well-established Quebec company, founded in 1976, specializing in the design and installation of turnkey storage systems (shelves, pallet racks, workstations, etc.). Our mission: to optimize our clients’ space while creating efficient and sustainable work environments.
In a context of growth and succession planning within our sales team, we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative.
The Role
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting and optimizing the company’s sales process. They are responsible for preparing and following up on quotes from their external sales team, the online chat tool, and clients visiting Pedlex offices directly. They also proactively follow up with clients in their territory, while developing and maintaining strong relationships to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage requests and provide customer service (Estimated time commitment: 50%)
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes.
- Ensure document compliance and verify the authenticity of new clients.
- Promptly answer customer questions via the chat tool.
- Greet and meet with clients who visit the office and conduct product demonstrations in the showroom.
- Maintain high standards of quality and excellence in customer service.
Contribute to sales development and territory support (Estimated time commitment: 50%)
- Collaborate closely with the project manager to support territory management and customer relations.
- Follow up with clients by phone to ensure a response to quotes.
- Contribute to maintaining strong professional relationships with existing and potential clients. Make proactive prospecting calls using the provided lists.
- Perform all other related tasks.
Desired Profile
- High school diploma.
- Training in sales or administration (an asset).
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or logistics environment (an asset).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system (NetSuite or equivalent).
- Good command of French and English (written and spoken).
- Interest in working in a commission-based sales environment.

We are looking for a mature individual, ready to commit to a long-term project and grow with the company.
Even without experience in this specific sector, comprehensive training will be provided at our Montreal (Anjou) offices. We are primarily looking for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and developing sales, and who wants to grow and develop with us.
