Pedlex is proud to have been chosen by heavy equipment company SMS Equipment (Komatsu) to furnish and equip their distribution center, located in Laval. This major project entailed not only the layout of the rooms, but also the optimization of the storage space, through the use of shelving, pallet racking and custom accessories. The multi-level shelving used in this project, from the Rousseau Metal Spider series, can be laid out in a number of different ways. For SMS Equipment, it supports a light, durable platform, creating a large mezzanine in order to take advantage of the unutilized space above the shelves. Meanwhile, the pallet racking system provides a convenient way to store pallets. This turnkey project was fully executed by Pedlex, from design to installation.
