Here’s an installation of Rousseau Metal Spider shelving we did for an individual who wanted to optimize the side of his personal garage without sacrificing the room he needed to park his car and without being restricted by the garage door.
The result is a shelving arrangement with doors that close and a mobile toolbox that slides in and out from beneath one of the shelves. The setup includes a closet, a cabinet with enough clearance to stow away the mobile toolbox, and four cabinets with shelves, one of which sits lower in order to accommodate the garage door.
Finally, the judicious choice of a lighter colour (P0610 Icy White) inside the cabinets provides increased visibility, while the blue (P056 Sapphire) doors add a touch of austerity.
