The challenge:
Our client Omnifab needed to set up their industrial machining department with 14 technician workstations. Their desire, beyond resistant and industrial quality stations, was to have the possibility of making modifications and adapting depending on their future needs.
They called on our industrial layout expert to equip their mobile mechanics workshops with the aim of creating tailor-made storage for their tools and equipment in two trailers, while ensuring that the equipment corresponds to the brand’s colors.
The solution:
Our project manager Valérie Fiset designed the following solution; manufactured by our partner Rousseau and delivered by Pedlex experts.
14 workstations with:
- DEL lights
- Two heavy-duty tool cabinets (400lb capacity per drawer) of 24″D x 34″H with drawer separators and dividers and a central lock
- Two wall-mounted storage cabinets of 42″W x 14″D x 21″H with integrated sliding doors
- Computer/LCD monitor stands with dual articulation
- Everything in one of the 20 standard colors from our partner Rousseau metal.
Heavy-duty storage cabinets with:
- Durable drawers with one-at-a-time opening, 100% extension and central lock
- Customized drawers with top opening for storing tool chests and easily accessing tools
- Cabinets for overhead storage
- In addition to ergonomic warehouse workstations, the client required a U-shaped cash counter, which was designed with heavy-duty cabinets with stainless steel tops, robust R drawers and pull-out shelves.
The project was manufactured and delivered quickly thanks to our partnerships with Quebec suppliers and our large inventory. We keep a wide inventory of toolboxes, work tables, shelves and much more which allows us to respond quickly to your needs.
